Some harnesses are known to develop corrosion that increases electrical resistance, which in turn increases the temperature of the wires to the point where the connectors begin to melt. When this happens, the voltage regulator (and most likely the stator) will fail, resulting in high repair costs.
Our new bypass voltage regulator uses Mosfet technology designed to bypass the main wiring harness and connect the voltage regulator directly to the battery. This configuration has been shown to significantly increase the reliability of the voltage regulator.

Before installing your new Mosfet voltage regulator rectifier:
Check the AC voltage of the stator
Replace all burned or corroded connectors on the voltage regulator rectifier and stator
Inspect and repair the harness
Use dielectric grease on all connectors

Operating temperature

This ultra-reliable Mosfet design can handle up to 50 amps peak and 30 amps continuous 3-phase, 30 amps single-phase and operates at a lower temperature than all OEM diode regulators.
In addition, this rectifier has overheat protection, rather than "burning out", it turns off for a while to cool down.
