It runs cooler than all OEM diode style regulators. In addition, this rectifier has overheat protection, rather than burn up it will simply turn off for a while and cool off.

There are two possible regulators for the RZR 900 XP and RZR 4 900 XP 2012 models. This regulator fits models built 3/15/12 and before. For the version built 3/16/12 and after, the right regulator is part CARMS020-103793. Always check in the 'Fits models' section and please compare to your original part before buying.
